I need to determine the fire resistance of a column. I have already been trying to do this with Abaqus but it takes way too long and it gives me a convergence error which I was not able to solve. I need help finishing my project. I will give you what I have so far and further information should you choose to take my project. I think I have done the majority of the project. I have been doing it with Abaqus but after many trials i was thinking of switching to Comsol.

I shall simulate the project on ABAQUS and SOLIDWORKS. After solving, I shall compare the results of the two softwares. If the results are same then the solution on ABAQUS shall also be right.
