Atmel ZigBee Demo

This project creates a simple set-up with twelve ZigBee nodes. The resulting demo system will be used to showcase some basic features. ZigBee nodes already exist and will be provided to you. The nodes are set up to run in the Atmel WSNdemo environment to be able to visualize what is happening in the system. A previous Freelancer project has adapted the software to the hardware. Some remaining work on the hardware abstraction layer may still need to be done to optimize performance. We expect that most of this project can be done within the application layer. We want you to have experience in Atmel 8-bit HW and development environment. You must also have good experience with ZigBee/802.15.4 software and networking. The application we want developed is described as use cases in the provided document. The project will be divided into three phases. 1. Technical interpretation of the use cases. Agreed specification on functions and performance. Basic communication of commands and data between the nodes. Controling the relays of the output nodes. 2. All twelve nodes with correct control functionality. (Switch closure - load activation). Basic system useable. 3. Reading energy consumption in a user readable format. Overload functions for attached loads. Fault functions implemented. No IPad integration in this project. We will allocate two weeks for each phase. Payment will be released according to a.
