Design an electronic circuit to prevent deep discharge of a solid electrolyte lead acid battery when connected to a LED lamp. Open the circuit from the battery to lamp when the normal battery voltage of 12 volts equals 10 volts. The attached circuit satisfactorily performs this function except when the relay opens and the battery is disconnected the battery voltage rises about 0.2 volts which reactivates the relay. This action continues causing the relay to chatter and the LED lamp to flicker. Improve the circuit so that once the battery voltage reaches 10 volts the LED and relay are not activated. After the battery is recharged closing SW! must restart the battery protection process. Circuit diagram and component selection required.

Hi, I'm already having tested & proven circuit for battery deep discharge protection. Seems your circuit does not having voltage & time hysteresis because of this electromechanical relay continue to chatter when battery potential is marginally equal to threshold value you set.
