We are looking for a freelancer to develop a comprehensive list of sports and contact information for ALL schools in the United States from grades K-12, as well as undergraduate colleges and universities. We need this list provided in a universal format for all the schools so that we can go in and extract the information into our database.
We ONLY want bids on a complete project basis. We are NOT interested in receiving bids on a “price per record” basis. Do NOT bid unless fully capable of delivering ALL of the required specifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) All United States schools from five education categories: Elementary (grades K-5); Middle Schools (grades 6-8); High Schools (grades 9-12); 2-year Junior Colleges; and 4-year undergraduate Colleges & Universities. *****Please note that sometimes elementary and middle schools are combined into the same school as is the case with Catholic grade schools (grades K-8).
2) General information about each school including: school name; physical street address; city; county; state; region; zip code; grade levels taught by each school; whether the school public or private; whether the school is female only, male only, or coed.
3) Listing of which of the following sports in which each school participates with Varsity teams. Our project covers the following types of sports: Baseball (M); Basketball (M/F); Cross Country (M/F); Field Hockey (M/F); Football (M); Golf (M/F); Gymnastics (M/F); Hockey (M/F); Lacrosse (M/F); Soccer (M/F); Softball (F); Swimming (M/F); Track (M/F); Tennis (M/F); Volleyball (M/F); Water Polo (M/F) Wrestling (M). *****Note that (M) stands for Male; (F) stands for female; (M/F) Stands for Male and Female. *****Note that a list of the sports ONLY applies to High Schools (grades 9-12); 2-year Junior Colleges, and 4-year Undergraduate College and Universities. Grades K-8 will generally not list school sponsored sports.
4) Sports classification for each school:
•High schools classifications are based on the size of each school and are relative to the sport. The general classification categories change per state. For example a high school might compete at Missouri 6A for football, but Missouri 5A for baseball. Therefore each high school’s classification is also relative to each sport in which it participates.
•College & University sports programs as a whole are each classified into one of the following categories: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III , NJCAA Division I , NJCAA Division II, NJCAA Division III, or NAIA
•Note that no classifications are established with K-8 schools (elementary and middle schools fall in this category).
5) List the sports conference in which each school’s teams participate (does not apply to grades K-8).
6) List of all sports coaches at each school. Include each coach’s email address where available.
NO PAYMENT WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS COMPLETED TO OUR 100% SATISFACTION.
We thank you in advance for your bids.
