Data Entry - from scanned forms to tables

We are seeking assistance with data mining and entry from scanned documents. The key challenge will be accurate transcribing of the required data fields from scanned documents into the desired table format. The documents are from water well drilling records, so candidates with prior knowledge in the fields of geology, water wells or drilling will be at an advantage. Data to be extracted from scanned forms and entered into the table: -document filename (number); -latitude, longitude or utm (xy) location; -well id; -drilling company; -address information; -lithology table; -depth drilled; -additional notes Scanned documents will typically be form-based, with information fields filled out in handwritten English. We will provide the desired table structure for data entry, QA/QC requirements, and a glossary of commonly used words from the water well industry for your reference. Expected work: 200 to 300 forms.
