Hello. I have a collection of ~30,000 uncategorized Wikipedia articles' URL's which I would like to sort based on its respected category (eg. Economics, Mathematics, Health,etc.) for my personal use. I don't know what the best approach for doing this is, so kindly propose your method. I asked Wikipedia help desk for guidance and they suggested using web crawler API's. From my initial understanding of the wikipedia pages, I find that the pages are categorized into different heading. So, we may use their API (Application Programming Interface) to get their categories for each Wikipedia webpages. Im scraping expert, and this job should be done easily in 1-2 days. i will create a script which will visit each URL and gather its category, which will be written into CSV file you can open in Excel. Im a professional hacker and done many scraping jobs just like that, and it is should not be difficult UNLESS - some of the URL's are in different language. in this case the job is will be done in 2 days and not before.
