excel spreadsheet.
i have a spreadsheet that i need to do certain things.
1. i intend to sell access to the sheet on an annual basis. i need to protect it. protection should be: all formulas hidden. non-copyable without authorization, expiration that can be continued with new or updated password. Also, a 'trial period' feature.
2. i would like there to be an input sheet that can be completed on the same or another computer, then imported to the working spreadsheet. once the input is in, the user should be able to manipulate the data to do 'what-if' comparisons.
3. the workbook currently uses multiple sheets and produces multiple reports from the same data. it would be great to have a pre-defined list of reports in a menu form so the user can just pick reports and have them done at once.
4. my clients will be using it for their clients. so, one of my clients may have a bunch of sets of data. is there a way that they can save their individual clients while still protecting my work?
i am familiar with excel and can work it okay, but i am not worth anything when it comes to more advanced functions.
