Project Description

Your Mission, should you decide to accept it; well actually you’ve got no choice but to accept it, is to create a program that behaves in a manner similar to a bank. It should be menu driven allowing the user to select several options from a menu.

The first menu allows the user to identify weather or not they have an existing account. If our customer has an account already then they go right to the transaction screen, where they decide to a. deposit money into their account, b. withdraw money from their account, or c. view a statement. If they wish to open an account then they go to a menu to decide what type of account they wish to open, a checking account or a savings account.

Checking accounts allow multiple deposits and withdrawals, but the possibility of overdrawing the account is possible. In cases where the user overdraws their account they are charge a fee equal to [url removed, login to view]% of the amount they are overdrawn. No interest is accrued for a checking account.

Overdraft Fee Calculation: $150 Overdrawn, Fee = 150 * [url removed, login to view] = $[url removed, login to view]

How much can I overdraw my account you may ask, well I’ll tell you…. You can overdraw your account to an amount equal to 20% of your beginning balance

Savings accounts on the other had do accrue interest at a rate of 3% a year, but the customer can make a limited number of withdrawals and cannot overdraw their account. In other words with a savings account if you don’t got it then you don’t get it.
