Have been designing my parts for 3D printing with Solidworks for some time now. (Electrical Engineer), will work part time every day.

Usually how I work is that the client provides me with a rough 2D sketch of their idea or design and from the sketch I create a 3D CAD model of the idea. I work with the client until they are happy with the final product. Once the 3D CAD model is complete if needed I will provide a 2D drawing package that the client can take to a manufacturer in order to have their idea built. I can also provide Hi-Res photos and videos of your design if needed so that the client can express their ideas more efficiently to potential investors.
