Project Description:- The client wants to develop a charting and analyzing software solution for stock/currency/commodity market data. Proposal:- The project will include three parts:- Charting Control:- This tool will be developed using some feature rich custom chart control (yet to be decided). It will have other features as asked by the client. Such as zooming, indicator etc. Backtester:- A real time chart will be displayed; as the chart progress buying and selling events are marked in the chart. It will have other features asked by the client such as color bars Hori and Vert etc. Code Editor:-The strategy code can be plugged in the application in many ways; such as providing an API to write code and then create DLL of the code. One other way is to invent a scripting language specific for analyzing the data. Client has to decide which way is better for him. Prerequisites:- 1. Provide the c++ charting control application as mentioned by the client. 2. Provide some data files zip as mentions 3. Provide the backtester application About Me:- I am a freelancer with more than 8 years of industry experience. I have worked with big organizations of the world like Samsung. Hello! I have read you task. Thanks, it describes the scope very well. But I have a couple of questions still: what would you choose between WinForms and WPF application, or it is up to me? And another question is - should we use just standard .NET controls to display chart, or you use any advanced controls from DevExpress or Infragistics? A few words about me: I have several years of experience developing C# Windows desktop applications with rich GUI, including charts. with the best regards, Anton
