Add sort by color to C# DataGridView

Hi, This can be achieved by creating a new column(INT) in database. In application we will create enum for each color and based on selected color, enum value will be saved in database. The solution you provided is already in running state The scope of the project is: Provide script to add column to existing table - The script will be rerunnable to add column if not already added Update the data access to update the column - (sprocs or dal) Update UI to add the column to show up and add provision to change the same. Simply process the color based on its RGB value (Red Green Blue) value, so it will be sorted out precisely.

Dear Sir, Is ok to have the sort done directly by the SQL server? What I mean is, after updating the color, the app requery the data using sort criteria.
