API CONNECTING DATABASE AND SMS GATEWAY

Hello, thank you for your interest in working with me and also in taking up this project to develop an API. Basically, i want an API or bot that will perform the actions of a CONTROL and SUPERVISING agent. The API will control and direct the activities between my SMS gateway and web Database. A brief explanation of why i need an API is; 1 I have a database of users that are registered that i also service twice in a week. 2. The users are to receive SMS from me twice weekly, i.e. i send them bulk SMS(Short Code) twice in a week. 3. This users/ clients reply to this Short code SMS. 4. After receiving the replies, i filter the messages first before storing because each reply SMS from users contain code- tags. An example of a reply SMS from a user is illustrated below: Mobile number: 080 3xxx xxxx Message Body: AC0347R ENG0464R IT5206R Upon receiving this message and others i filter them by the code-tags, i.e (AC0347R, ENG0464R, IT5206R = code-tags) meaning if 1,000 people replied with this type of message format, i group them into code-tag groups such as Example Group1 Code -tag AC0347R Mobile numbers 080 3xxx xxxx 080 2xxx xxxx 080 7xxx xxxx This group illustrates the mobile numbers that subscribed for code-tag AC0347R. The same also applies for the other code-tags, i group them in the same way as the one above. After grouping all this way, i store them. So it goes for any number that subscribes for a code-tag, i group the numbers with the code-tags. 5. Finally i work with each code-tag group, taking the first group and collecting all the mobile numbers contained in the group and then using each number to RETREIVE the users data contained in the web database. The data RETRIVED is usually their name, age, sex and so on, normal registration details contained in the database. Now, i need an API to perform these tasks by; FIRST API TASK( CONNECTING WITH SMS GATEWAY) 1. Be programmed to CONNECT to the SMS gateway to VIEW,FILTER, RETRIEVE and STORE. VIEW:- View the reply SMS from clients through the SMS gateway. RETRIEVE/FILTER:- Filter the SMS’s into code-tag groups with the numbers that subscribed to it as illustrated above. STORE:- Here it stores all the groups containing the code-tags and mobile numbers. SECOND API TASK (CONNECTING WITH DATABASE) After performing the first task, the API then works with the Database to; 1 QUERY the database to RETRIEVE the respective information of users contained in the database using the mobile numbers in the code-tag groups. Here it takes the first group and uses the mobile numbers contained in the group to RETRIEVE the data of the users. Then it performs the same function for the other groups. After RETRIEVING the data it stores the complete data of the users. Thank you and hope the API can be completed on time.
