Within a specified directory are a number (up to 200) of uncompressed AVI files (720 X 480, 50 fps). These AVI files may by up to 10+ GB large each. Another file exists which lists the following:
AVI_filename | framenumber | “Text to be placed in subtitle”
AVI_filename | framenumber | “Text to be placed in subtitle”
AVI_filename | framenumber | “Text to be placed in subtitle”
.
.
.
for eg, the text file may read something like:
c:[login to view URL] | 500 | “Subtitle1”
c:[login to view URL] | 1045 | “Subtitle2”
c:[login to view URL] | 550 | “Subtitle3”
.
.
.
We need to create a new AVI file (at say 10 fps) with only those frame numbers listed in the text file, drawn from the correct AVI files, with the associated subtitles. There may be over 1 million individual frames to extract and re-combine into the new file. The output AVI file should be uncompressed and at the original resolution of 720 X 480.
Hi,
I am very skilled in developing avi manipulation applications using Windows API. It would be no problem for me to finish it in a day.
