Assistant for busy IT/Web Design company

We are expanding significantly and require the services of an organised, experienced assistant to enable us to provide top level services to our clients and ensure that in-house processes are optimised. All our systems now operate in the cloud, so you would be expected to work within a Google Apps environment - experience would be really helpful here. We use the ManyMoon Project Management System, FreshDesk helpdesk ticketing system and MailChimp - again all of this is web-based. You would be expected to work under our company name as if you were part of the business, liaising with our staff and contractors throughout the process of our projects on a range of matters, from booking appointments to chasing web content and answering questions. Your primary roles will be to act as the PA to the director, research and review technology stories for staff to write up, create our newsletters, and other admin tasks as requried. If you are happy to learn some more involved tasks then we can train you to back up and update our client websites, create basic sites for us to work on, and so forth - if you're willing to learn, we're willing to teach. This role can be done almost entirely online, by email and phone but could equally be office based - this role is being advertised as an apprenticeship at the moment, our previous PA has moved on to develop her own business. We anticipate this being a full time role as there is a lot to do, but we can accommodate flexibility. It will last until such a time as we appoint an apprentice. We would really value your input on our current business processes to ensure that we are making the most of technology and doing things in an organised way.
