We are an organisation that offers managed services to IT departments. We offer our corporate clients and potential clients a monthly publication which is targeted on issues and areas of interest to IT managers. We have produced these publications for the past 15 years. The chosen article will be distributed to between 400 and 500 members of the IT Management community in Australia. We are seeking an article of 1200 words on the topic of “A post recession IT” What are the priorities for a post recession IT department? What order will these priorities likely to appear? What are the drivers for these priorities? Please see below an extract from the current American CIO magazine which gives the author an idea of the tone and standard we are looking for on the topic. We would like the above questions to be addressed and have research that backs up claims. “Heading into 2011, many CIOs are investing in projects to improve staff productivity, make business processes more efficient and promote innovation. These transformational and strategic activities signal that the retrenchment that ruled the past two years is, thankfully, over. CIOs we interviewed say that data center redesigns no longer simmer on the back burner. Mobile experiments are moving to production. iPad requisitions are being signed. Renewal has begun.” We have attached 2 example past articles that should give bidders an idea of the quality and standard of article we are looking for. The article must be well written in clear English and follow the traditional format offering the reader an introduction, body and conclusion. The word limit is 1200 words and may not exceed 1300 words or be below 1100 words. This article needs to be completed and submitted by Thursday 20th January, 2011. We expect the article to be original and not copied from any other source. We will mark the article unfinished and will not except the article if the above criteria are not met in anyway.
