I have a linux (ubuntu [url removed, login to view]) system which is running avahi-daemon for providing mDNS service. E.g. if the hostname of the linux box is “zz”, when the client issues a request like “ping [url removed, login to view]” from the terminal, the mDNS would resolve the name [url removed, login to view] to its IP address. I am unable to resolve the host “[url removed, login to view]” in android system. I need multicast DNS listener for android , which will be able to use mDNS properly. Android is not able to find broadcast network by name. I have to enter IP Address of the network. I want Android to find the network by name and connect to it.
Implement Search and Connect with mDNS [url removed, login to view] native Android code.
Make native plugin and interface with c# for Unity3D.
Or provide working mDNS code in c# (Unity3D) for Android.
Test for Android.
