The event organizing process is a challenged face by event organizers. To reach a large number of audiences, organizers have to use a number of channels including posters, social media and booklets. The process is bound to be time, money and effort consuming. With the application to be created the process of advertising is simplified and the audience is reached instantly in large numbers. The application is an event-based notification system that notifies users about upcoming events in a specific area. Events created by organizers is shared using the system and at the point of advertising it, a large number is reached using the app. With events happening all around the world, one cannot help but attend such events. With the app one simply searches for events of interest to them that they would most likely to attend and locate what’s happening on that event as to who is attending, the special guest, the theme and even get exclusive information about the event. Event organized or advertised using the system in the past, they’ll be comment on by users who attendant that event. Interaction of users brings the excitement in users and the energy of attending the event to be organized. The system will bring out the fun side of our users, alerting them about events happening around their area, places that they can go to when they feel like going out. Entertainment is the most common language people seem to share with each other, entertainment is the goal of the application, putting the search of it under one platform. Being able to use such an application anywhere and anytime allows users the flexibility of attending more than one event given the fact that the attended event is not interesting to them, they can simply search for the next one happening around the location. Not all events turn out to be as expected, the app brings the fun of moving around without the fuss of asking around. This document will cover the applications details in finer detail, stakeholders participating in this project and the proposed ways of compiling the application. Technology changing every day, changes are to be made in the future to improve and better the application. Changes made to the project are to be expected in the next iteration documentation.
