Accident Scene Alert Program (ASAP)

The idea behind this project is to reduce death caused by cars accidents. Mostly, accidents occur in highways and slopes are vital. Also, when incident is happen, people try to make the first aid and at the same time they forget to coordinate with police. Above factors can be as reason of loss in life of people.

This project aimed to design and implement a system to alert/inform the authorities about the location of accident using GPS and GSM technologies to save human lives. In this project will study the concept of GPS, GSM and sensors which detect external impacts. After that, design an alert system using GPS and GSM to locate the accident scene and send information to concerned authorities. Next, implement and interface the system using appropriate hardware and subsystems. Finally, will conclude this project by test and analyze the results of location identification.

projects should include all the following with a clear emphasis on achieving the stated aims and objectives:

a. Feasibility Study – an analysis on the constraints and feasibility, considering the availability of the resources, facilities and expertise.

b. Literature Review – this must be concise and critical; only those findings from the earlier publications that are relevant to the aims and objectives of the project must be presented in the project report. A clear rationale for the aims and objectives must be drawn from the literature review.

c. Design & Analysis – all engineering projects must have the elements of design and analysis. The test benches or models or experimental set-ups must be designed conforming to the specifications.

d. Fabrication of model or Simulation – It is very important to fabricate the model for experimentation purposes or at least to set up a test-bench using prototypes. Software simulation can be used to supplement and verify the experimental results, and must be used to a minimum. However, in case there is no scope for fabrication of a model or test bench, a thorough investigation and experimentation, using software simulators will be allowed.

e. Experimental Investigation – An investigation of the theory or hypothesis or proposal must be carried out and the outcome of the experimentation must be discussed and conclusions drawn. A clear summary of the outcome of the project and if or not the objectives are met, and if or not the results align with the assumptions must be presented in the project report.

f. Project Report – a summary of the work done, clearly discussing the topics (a – e) listed above and critical analysis of the results and findings linking to the aims and objectives.
