I have a Maxon Motor Iberica motor connected to a KEYA MOTOR power stage. I have the controller software with which I connect directly to the controller via serial port using a Windows 10 PC. I have a blueprint that enables a UE camera to be tracked with a Vive controller. The blueprint adds a lot of functionality to the UE camera being tracked via the Vive Controller such as recording takes, and adding jump points. Currently all inputs are mapped to an xBox controller but I am thinking of using a keyboard instead so it is one less piece of equipment I have to pair, charge, etc. I also want to add another 2 vive controllers to map focus distance and focus length.

For our project, we performed strain sweep (at 1 Hz frequency), frequency sweep (at 1% strain) and magnetic sweep (at 1% strain and 1 Hz frequency) tests on 5 elastomers with varying levels of carbonyl iron particles. I am looking for someone who can write a sketch for an Arduino Uno that will take input from a incremental optical rotary encoder and using a L298N motor controller control a DC Linear Actuator. When the encoder is turned clockwise, the linear actuator will extend, when the encoder stops, the actuator stops, when the encoder turns counter clockwise, the linear actuator will retract. The speed of the encoder turning controls the speed of the linear actuator extending or retracting.
