I'm a video editor who bit off more than they can chew with a VFX project for a friend. I've been trying to rotoscope, motion track, add mattes, and composite a 04:30 long shot for a music video for quite some time now and I don't think I have the bandwidth to successfully track the motion. I think I can composite the effects if needed, but I'm wonder if you could give me a rough estimate of cost to do the following. Option A) Roto and motion track a man moving in front of a white cyc. Option B) Roto, motion track, and composite VFX of a man moving in front of a white cyc and catching on fire and burning continuously. It's too tricky for Roto Brush or Keylight or Luma Key in Adobe After Effects, and it's also too difficult for Color Key or Ultra Key or Luma Key in Adobe Premiere Pro. First create a very rough subtraction mask around the green men with loads of feathering so we don't have to worry about the parts of us that do not at all intersect with the green suit people. - Rotoscope us out for the entire video using the After Effects roto brush 2.0 tool, only focusing on the parts of us that intersect with the green suit people. - Expand the roto mask just slightly and use a keyer to remove the edge of the green for a better-looking mask. - Add a bit of camera movement following our motions slightly [important!] - Boost the saturation and brighten the video [might be ok already on this one] - Also, separately roto the ukulele and try to make it not appear out of thin air (come from the side of the screen or behind us)
