Contest Brief

I need custom whiteboard animations for a series of instructional screencast videos. They should improve on but match in style existing animations which you can review in the 20-second video file at http://www.mf.ly/8gt . As a deliverable, I need an mp4 file, 1920 by 1080 (1080p HD), with a 30 fps frame rate. The pen color needs to be the same pink as in the example above (#F335CF) and the width of the pen stroke should be similar as well. The background color of the canvas should be black (#000000) as in the example video. As in the example and unlike many whiteboard animations, please do not show the image of a hand doing the drawing.

The animation for this project should illustrate the "voiceover text” shown below. This text is part of a tutorial about using smartphones to shoot quality videos. So the animation for the voiceover text should show something like a stick figure holding a smartphone to film some scene (or another person). Maybe show the sun shining from behind that the person doing the filming, to illustrate proper lighting, and then show the sun from the front at that person, illustrating improper lighting and the resulting dark silhouettes of people against a bright background. I expect the animation video for this to be 10-15 seconds long.

I will have many more of snippets like this to be animated, so if you can do this well at a very competitive price I will have many follow-up project for you. I’m setting the price for this contest at $200 since its purpose is not only to create this animation but also to find somebody to continue working with. Please know, however, that for subsequent projects of this kind of scope, the price range will be closer to $25 so please only participate in the contest if you would be open to this price point.

Voiceover Text to be animated:

"First, lighting: Remember, light is your friend, but only if its shining from behind the person shooting the video, instead of at that person from the front. If the light shines from the front at the person shooting the video, people in it will appear as dark silhouettes against a bright background."

You can read the entire script, if you want to see the context for the text snippet above, at http://www.mf.ly/yaz

The stylized approach of #12 and #8 (Igor) is exactly what I'm looking for. It's very nicely done.

You've kept the format as png, jpeg, gif. Could you change it to video format so we can submit video?

Since you want the voice over and animation, would you be willing to up future projects to $40? Because 15-20 seconds is short but it's a bit of work for $25. If you're up for that, I will work on this and have it done tonight! I can provide animations and voice. Thanks!
