The illustrations are becoming less like pencil drawings and more like pen and ink - it's strange that this often happens - the brief is a mere starting point which changes as the contest holder sees other options. LOL - it's almost worth just doing one's own thing and seeing if the client likes it or not.

The brief states black and white sketches - pencil, pen, ink doesn't matter as long as it projects a deity picture the same way as seen in the attached illustration of the tigers. Very clear right from the beginning!

I thought the tiger drawing was pencil - thus the confusion - it certainly was not my intention to be critical of you , merely an observation.

I made a mistake by posting the tiger, but thank you for giving it five stars for the Tigers. for that I add one more picture (Entry #47 ), maybe this is my last post in this contest. all the posts I have not touched on Photosop.
whatever the outcome of this contest, I received with pleasure, I really enjoyed this contest, thanks to you and other participants.

Oh yes, it has an excellent and exact outlines but, just like entry 4 which I equally liked, has not depth and details.

Ok - what can I do with my drawings to get extra stars - simplify, clarify, stylise? You gotta tell me :)

They are good as such but this style as illustration in the book, I wonder! Please try with clearer outlines like entry # 4, less darkness, and may be other style. As artist, you know better. And just submit one at a time in order not to waste effort. Thanks for your participation.

It's ok - I enjoy drawing, I'm not in it for the money - but thanks for considering that aspect. I will simplfy the drawing style.

hmmmm - that seems a small amount of prizemoney for such a potentially huge task - depending upon how much detail you require...OR...is this competion just to find the specific artist to complete the task.

After Freelancer deducts their fees - that works out to about $17 US per drawing. Only those who aren't in it for the money will like this competition. LOL

I just realized that you have put in the same project under bidding. So are we suppose to upload our artworks here or not?
    Do clarify.

Wow! So many questions! Prize money is for the ten sketches of deity pictures attached. Pen, pencil, shaded, detailed or simple - all sketches should have smooth lines and have an appeal, create an impression to win. Prize money is appropriate for ten sketches.

and for a contestant to win you want to see first all the drawings or just 1(of course with all your picture requirements)? because in my case i do a lot of details and it takes a lot of time to finish 1 piece.

I have submitted two versions of my latest drawing to indicate the difference between a bitmap scan and a greyscale scan....just a heads up that the way the artist scans them will have an effect on the end result.

Check the entry #16 and feedback please. And I have a little question there. Do you need a pencil drawing or ink?Because in a brief you`ve wrote that you want it to be in the style of the sketch of tigers(witch is undoubtedly pencil work),but the biggest amount of stars given for ink work.

Excellent. If possible do at least two more from either ganesha, ardhanarishwara, shiva, or kali which are kind of portraits and I will make the decision.

Hi...As I see that you are personally asking for the output in EPS and AI format...But the thing is you would not be getting the same 'sketchy' feel like your sample if the same is done in Illustrator...I think it will be better in a high res. PNG...anyways...I am delivering two different styles...please see whether they are acceptable...
