We are a operating in the plastic industry ([login to view URL]), only B2B-oriented. Due to internal needs for Digital Printing on plastic materials we more and more moved into Digital Printing, signage, (car)-wrapping and large format prints.
Due to the fact that our company is locally not very visible and the company name is also not very telling, we acquired a retiring company (sing-point or signpoint both forms existed). We now want spinn-off signpoint as a "brand".
There is an existing logo which is does not neccessarily have to be changed, but maybe spiced up a little. Since we have to print a lot of samples for our customers in order to show various different material and techniques the Logo and CI has to be flexible (maybe different colors for different material, customer groups, product lines) but recognizable. Also prinability is important - light colors are more difficult to print then colors like 100/100 red and therefore printed samples are more difficult to procude or look worse.
The feel of the brand should be somewhat "stylish" (very young team), creative, but also should suggest a certain quality.
It has to be made in such a way that possible follow up project like material sample booklets, folder, website, car-wraps and signs can be made easily and consistently.
The final Logo should be for SignPoint, not for Polyduo.
