Contest Brief

Background info:

We are launching a new cleaning product. We are looking for a fresh new and eye-catching product label to be created for print (CMYK). The label size will be around A6 in size – about 150mm tall and 105mm wide (portrait orientation). We will require final PDF as well as original files (illustrator / photoshop) as part of the submission.

We believe our target market is cost conscious but looking for a premium quality cleaning product that works everywhere and is safe and environmentally friendly. The product label should be clean, modern, and bringing something to it that speaks to environmentally friendly, whilst also saying it’s a cleaning product. Our preferred colors are yellow, blue, and green, but not limited

What you can use it for (small font – would be nice to have associated row of icons that could separate the “fine print below” from the primary space above:

Use: Kitchen surfaces, dishes, bathroom surfaces, toilet, bath, shower, mirrors, floors, walls, windows, furniture, cupboards, pet areas

Product Details to be included on label in very small font size (very bottom of label) this is required and needs to be as small, but readable, as possible…

Directions: Spray onto surface, wipe clean with damp cloth. For stubborn surfaces, spray liberally and leave to soak for longer, repeating as required. Main ingredient: Surfactant. Warning: Keep out of reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water, seek medical advice. Do not swallow. If swallowed, seek medical advice. Avoid excess inhalation. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Slight color change of product is normal.
