New logo for British luxury watch brand

Contest Brief

We are a boutique British watch brand called Wesson & Co. Our core belief is an affordable luxury lifestyle brand that everyday folks can enjoy and wear with pride.

We are looking to refresh the company image with a brand new logo. Your design will be proudly displayed on the face of the watch. In the future, it might be incorporated into bracelets, polos, and more!

Here are the requirements for the logo. It must be:
- A single color
- Look good as black or white, as a minimum requirement
- Recognizable from afar without being mistaken for a different brand
- The logo can be either customized typography or actual vector graphic, but it needs to follow the principals of being a timeless design that can looks good small on a watch face or 4 times as big on a polo shirt or handkerchief.
- the design needs to be original, without trademark or copyright issues
- The logo does NOT need to incorporate the word Wesson & Co in it, but hints of British styling would be ideal.

- Objects that interests us in the logo are: sun/moon/solar/etc..., bear, fish, crown, trees (palm trees perhaps) , flame, anchor.

I've attached the watch face design from Wesson & Co. Please submit your entries with the logo as a standalone and also on the provided watch face.

The winner will most likely be our go-to designer for many future projects.

EDIT: a combined logo idea like the attached image of sun and horse might be really beautiful. Please keep in mind that we need our logo to be much simpler in design than that

    Our CMO is also interested in proposing the logo as an idea behind Atmospheric conditions, ie moon or sun or etc... But again it needs to stand out as a logo, not looking like a stereotypical vector graphic. Thanks!

    Somethign that's a combination between sun + moon or even crown might be really attractive. We like abstract but recognizable concepts, since that has a higher chance of being eye catching and standing out

    we really like the direction of the crown designs. We also like the bear wearing crown idea, however the bear needs to not look cute and have minimalistic details. Thanks!

      the crown doesn't look unique like it used to. It looked better when the crown was oversized on the animal head. Also we're looking for a stylized bear head, like the tripadvisor owl.
