Hi there,

I'm looking for a talented freelance designer to help be create some illustrations based on a song and music lyrics. I'd like it to be creative and fun, and incorporate lyrics into the design.

I'd like it to have a modern feel but incorporate vintage western / bluegrass concepts. Would be cool to weave in an instrument like a banjo. Maybe a band performing in the country side or woods.

I'd like to weave into the design this lyric: "Peaches in the summertime, apples in the fall"

Potential applications would be a t-shirt or concert poster.

    Hi all, thanks so much for your awesome ideas so far. I just wanted to consolidate some generic feedback so I don't keep repeating: 1) please refer to the banjo picture in the briefing description (5 strings, 4 of which go up to the head, and 1 only goes up to the 5th fret), 2) I think our target demographic so in middle aged men, so in many cases I asked you to change from woman to men, 3) I'll only consider ORIGINAL work..., 4) Bluegrass and old time American folk music is grungy / gritty / earthy, etc. going for that type of feel. 5) I shared another video (Greensky Bluegrass) and a website with pictures of a cool new bluegrass style band (Mipso) please refer to those for inspiration, look / feel / style indicators, etc.

      For all of the silhouette related designs... Check the the start of the video from above, between 15-25 second mark. Super cool view of silhouette (you can see band members, microphone, instruments, with soft blue light in back), and then as the lights come up you start getting more warm colors and details... That is really cool.

    I'd like to stress the importance of original work. I'm looking for something more than Shutter-stock vector art with the lyrics below them. You should definitely leverage images, photos, etc. for inspiration, but I want this to be an original, creative design. Thanks!

    One of the potential applications for this is a t-shirt. But no need to mock it up on a shirt... I would like to see creative, original designs first. Then we can figure out how to use them in production.
