I need some Graphic Design for a brewery.

Contest Brief

So this is a project about sketching and drawing. Do not photoshop from the picture. With that said. Go for it!

It´s a brewery focusing on rustik belgian farmhouse and speciality beers. We need help with logo that is a picture and brewery name. And also an label for the bottles that will look the same for every beer but with different context.

So we are looking for a rustic and elderly touch with simplicity but not boring.
The name of the brewery is Basuun with two U. Basun is a word for a horn as in an instrument. And in swedish you can "basunera" out somthing. That means like proclaiming a statement. And we are basunating out extra ordinary beer.

The figur we are using for the logo is from an epitaph from 1636 that describes the judgment day. Where he is sitting on the nose of a dragon. There is also a closeup from an angel below were he looks realy evil. Dont do him evil, please. Perhaps better to zoom in on the bigger picture to get a nice close up for drawing. It should look like a drawing or etching. It does not have to be the same individual. You can think as if it is a species and you are drawing one individual. We humans comes in many shapes and so does this nose blower. Use your imagination. Be playful! The figure needs to have the nose modifyed a bit so that the opening angels up like 40° and not down.

We are not so sure about the Basuun text on the logo. We had an idea that it should look a bit medieval. Found a font UnifrakturCook that could be laborated with. But its optional. If you have a suting idea. Go for it!.

For the rest of the text on the labels we were thinking of like an old typewriter. And it all comes on a thicker yellowish paper with texture. More like a bottle of wine than a beer. We are using champange bottles and corks. But maybe the medieval clashes with the old typewriter look?

      Hi Sir! So its still has the issue that I commented on your #10 and referred to on your #14 and your #15 . "Someone own the rights to the drawing I submitted so its against the law to copy”.The meaning of that is that you can’t take the drawing an put in your contribution. You have to make one by your self by looking on the submitted files of the stone epitaph.

    Hi! Thanks for the submitted entries. I have change some things in the info file and also added another picture for instructions. This is due to laws regarding ownership. Something about not taking others productions.

      Hi! If you open the info file you will get some info like the name and that it is for the size of a label that would fit on a champaign bottle. Im not sure what you mean with just typography. But the logo will be used on bottles, webpage, clothes and other possible merchandises.
