Contest Brief

I am looking for a logo that represents my artist name ( No JustXus ) and what my music/message represents. This logo will be used for advertising, merchandise and also to make a statement. I would like it to stand alone as a statement piece so that someone unfamiliar with the brand or music would still feel a connection to the logo as a sign of Freedom, rebellion, strength, activism, authenticity and free thinking. If you are familiar with Hip Hop, Some comparable artists that represent what I do would be Tupac, Nas, DMX, Dead Prez and Public Enemy. I am posting a link to my last album on Spotify if you think it's helpful to hear what kind of music I make. The songs that most closely show what I would want my logo to represent are "We are 1" and "American Thinking."

As far as aesthetics go, I would like it to be dark but with the capability to have color for different merchandise. I also want it to be masculine. Some other descriptors would be : Sophisticated, Revolutionary, Urban, Dark and Simple. An example of a shirt might read "No Justxus, No Breathe" With the "No Justxus" part being the logo.
