Contest Brief

We need a 3D colour graphic for print (acceptable files: .pdf, .jpg, .tiff, .psd, .eps, .ai, .cdr).
The article is called “Harnessing the power of communities: Career networking strategies for bioscience PhD students and postdoctoral researchers” (This text doesn't need to be included in the graphic)

Our client has sent us this very rough picture with the text on but you don't need to take TOO much notice of this.
I have added a pdf with some rough ideas to help.

It needs to look more like a bicycle wheel on an axle powering a light bulb:

'PRESENT' in the centre.
A light bulb to represent 'harnessing power'.
Surrounded by a wheel of 8 interconnected ‘communities’.
PAST >> PRESENT >> FUTURE go through on the other plane - a bit like an axle.

    Everyone - Delete plug & 'plug in'. The wheel of communities goes round the axle of time and this powers the light bulb. I don't know how best to do this but see my new pdf for more of an idea.
