Contest Brief

Smart Communications is a tech communications company and needs a new trade show exhibit booth designed. Our company image is very clean, white, silver, blue. Simple innovative looking very "Apple" like. We need graphics for our both that will be displayed at trade shows. We are in the jail and prison industry for inmate communication technology. Phones/ email/ video visitation. Our website is www.smartcommunications.us
The booth is 20ft x 20ft with tall columns we need graphics, text and photos on.
The new booth is larger with 4 main columns that need graphics on the outside and on the inside of the column. The booth is being made in China and the graphic designer is not understanding what we are looking for. (the pics include of their mock up are just to show the booth shape and layout not design style) You will need to make graphics based on the size of the column panels that are provide in their mock up pictures. It is ok if you just make the graphics on a flat panel and name what column of the booth this will go on. We can send the graphic to scale over to china for production on the booth. I will also include our current trade show booth we want to make this new larger booth look like. As well as a mobile cart that has our graphics on it so you can see the look we need. This is the design look we want for the top hanging banner please. All 4 sides in white and sliver with these words.
I would like to use this shield logo as the background of our booth on all columns. You can see I faded it out so it is transparent and just a background. We currently have a booth and the shield is in the background faded away and it looks very nice. I think it is at a slight angle to give it some style. I will include a picture of the booth and the shield is in the Smart Communications logo. Not the MailGuard logo that is a different shield. We need to use the shield with the phone in it.Below is a list of content to put on the columns.
Column 1(D)
Outside D = TV monitor, shield faded and and Smart Communications Logo table counter top.
Inside D = Smart Communications Logo at the top. Faded shield below logo. Text below that starts dark and fades lighter as it goes down the list. Like the both in the picture.
Text that says = Corrections simplified

At the bottom text in silver says The New Leader in Inmate Communications
Column 2 (B)
Outside = Faded shield towards the top/ middle of the column. At the bottom just the text in silver that says The New Leader in Inmate Communications
Inside = MailGuard logo at the top.
Text = Patent Pending MailGuard™ Postal Mail Elimination System provides an offsite virtual mailroom. Zero Contraband, Zero Labor, Zero Cost. (Then we will insert these pictures below.)
Column 3 (A) Inside
Smart Communications Logo at top. Below logo is the faded shield logo the text can go over the shield. (This is where we need wood backing support for tablet charging stations. 2 of them on this wall.)
Text = SmartTablet™ The most innovative tablet in corrections, zero cost. Experience the transformation.
We would like to hang a tablet charging station above each of the counter top tables on the wall in this column.
Column 3 (A) outside. Faded shield top/middle at bottom text says The New Leader in Inmate Communications
Column 4 (C) Outside= Shield faded top/middle of column
Bottom text says The New Leader in Inmate Communications
Inside = faded shield. (100% Phone Commission. Smart Communications inmate calling platform sets the bar for More technology, 100% commissions and lower calling rates. Smart Communications innovative calling technology changes corrections and is The new Leader in inmate communications.)
Add the phone icon. Also this is where we should put the picture of holding the tablet that says Smart Communications on the screen. I will let your graphic designer find the right place for it on this column.

    Hello everyone, thank you for your time. Remember I want to copy our design from our existing booth. Our existing booth is included with a picture. You can see the artwork on that booth. We want a copy of that on this bigger booth. Please pay attention to details of font style, color, and how the shield is faded out and is blown up large to not fit on the whole space. We want a very simple and smart looking design. Not a loud crazy font or color. Sleek and clean please. Look at our existing booth with the small tables and blue lights. That is what we are trying to copy in design.

    Could you provide a mock up of the dimensions of the booth so that I can get it exact to what you are looking for? This includes the size of the columns spread out across the 20 ft. Thank you.

    2. Upon approval, a deposit is made in order to continue with the service. This guarantees that the work that you will receive is exactly as specified which does not leave any room for error or miscommunication.

    3. Final files are created and designed with another approval process. All changes are captured during our second communication. I will take those changes and implement them.

    4. A second deposit is made once all files are finalized. Upon receipt of funds I will release the files to you.

    This allows for equal expectations from both the employer and the designer.

    I have been doing this for over ten years and trust me when I say, while you will receive many entries for this project, you will run into a few hiccups with the process since you are not in direct communication with the contractor. Does the budget that you have established leave room for changes and implementations outside of the final design?

    Hi, I would like to work with you on this one on one if possible. I find that you do not get the right quality and the communication between what is expected and what is delivered sometimes becomes lost in transition. Also, once a design is established, there is usually room for changes and minor tweaks to the general layout and design after the project has been delivered.
