Contest Brief

Hello everyone,

The design need to consist of a clean new look (FLAT\material) and not kitschy.

A day view will show time from top to bottom (for example, 8:00 hour at the top rows and 12:00 hour at the bottom). Scrolling down will allow to view the next hours until the end of the day.

First column will represent the hours, then the rest of the columns will represent rooms.

Each room will have its appointments, and each appointment will have its color (depends on the type of the appointment. Massage, Acupuncture etc..). Please choose a color pallet I can use for each type (10 types will be ok), the colors needs to match the design scheme.

Another example, a block of appointment that will represent a 2 hours appointment, will have text with info about the appointment inside (until there won't be any more space left). With the information sorted (Name, Type, Status, Repeating client, More text info..).

The interface need to look like a calendar with the lines representing the hours the appointments are passing (similarly to how Outlook show it). Please feel free to bring a fresh creativity that will bring this calendar with clean and nice look to a new levels.

Above the calendar area, the interface should have few buttons and icons that will represent notifications (with a number next to the icon), and tasks (with a number next to it).
The followup projects will be to design the other screens, so this project has much more work to do on it except just the main screen that I'm asking to design in high level at this contest.

If the winner design will look really good. I will provide the followup project directly to the winner, and many more projects that I have pending.

Graphic materials that will be sent in handover need to be in vector, layers needs to be used correctly and not rasterized, and images\every other material included as part of the design, needs to be sent in high quality (illustrator, indesign formats).
I prefer to receive the end layout in Indesign format and the Icons in AI.
I remind you again that colors are very important, so all colors should match the look and feel.

The icons and different elements should have the hover, clicked, focused and standard versions look of it.

Good luck :-)

Hello CH, can the designs be made in Adobe XD? Or strictly InDesign and AI?

Hey, It can be done with XD as long as you can send the XD source files and a converted version of the result in vector. Sorry if that makes you work more.
Also sorry for the slow response, there was a holiday last week in israel.

Also if you haven't yet worked on it, I don't want anyone working for free.
Anastasiia did an amazing job and I'm planning to award her. But I have a lot of need in designers all the time for many many projects that are always overfloating my queue. So I would love to see other types of similar requested styles designs that you've worked on before. If it fits my taste, I will definitely consider involving you on some of the next projects.
