Contest Brief

I am looking for a talented designer to to re-design two existing characters and create icons and characters that will be used to promote a family holiday resort. I need the icons/characters to have a cartoon style, but I am open to suggestions for colors. The overall message that I want the icons/characters to convey is fun. The perfect design will be eye catching, engaging, and tailored towards families. These characters will be used on various merchandise and signage, including hats, t-shirts, water bottles etc.

I would like to keep the two fish characters as they are, but recreated in the same theme as the other icons. The characters needed would be;
• Fish x 2 (photos supplied, to re-recreate)
• Caravan
• Tent
• Chalet/cabin (photo supplied)
• Rainbow waterslide (photo supplied)
• Crab (photo supplied)
• Jellyfish
• Ring Tail Possum (photo supplied)
• Seagull
• Bronzewing pigeon (photo supplied)
• Scooter
• Roller-skate/rollerblade
• Bicycle (no person)

Color scheme is flexible but should all compliment each other. The characters will be used on both dark backgrounds and white backgrounds so the flexibility/option to have either dark or light outlines would be an advantage.
