Contest Brief

I am building a birthday calendar app for a client (iPhone only initially). The intent of the app is to allow users to easily track events where they will need to buy gifts, such as birthdays, anniversaries and other holidays. This will not be a generic calendar app, it will specifically be used to help track birthdays and similar events so people have an easy way to manage the birthdays (and other important days) of their friends and families. For this project, I'm looking for 4 total screens. I will likely hire the winner for future work to build out the rest of the design of the app.

Screens that need to be designed for this project:
1) Home Screen (wireframe provided)
2) Calendar Screen (wireframe provided)
3) Profile/Settings Menu (wireframe not provided - be creative!)
4) Contacts Screens (wireframe not provided - be creative!)

I’ll leave it up to you to use your creativity to turn the wireframes into a screen flow that is slick, fun and easy to use. The screens shown in the attached are the home screen and the calendar screen. I would like you to create/design both of those screens as well as a ‘profile’ screen (this is where the user’s information will be, including settings, etc) and the Contact screen (this will be an import of the contacts from their phone, but it shouldn’t look like a simple contact list. Be creative here, remember it’s a birthday/event tracking calendar so tie that into the contacts section, maybe have a contact view sorted by your contacts birthday month?). 4 screens total. I am planning to hire the winner for the full design. I will also need all icons, shapes and imagery in all formats (psd, png, jpeg, etc.) delivered as part of the project.

coz i have no idea to design the contacts page without knowing the contents you need in it, and as you have mentioned in the wireframe that when the zodiac sign is clicked it takes the user to the contacts page

Hi! I was just wandering, is it gonna be only info/reminder displaying when some of your friend has bday/anniversary/etc, or would it be possible to plan a "party" there as well, adding location, time, participants and details of the party, maybe even allowing comments there?
