Contest Brief

I have a little money in my account, so I thought a quick contest to draw an aluminum boat that can be welded from plate aluminum. The design will combine the "Texas Scooter Boat" with a sleeping cabin similar to the square "Teardrop Campers".

This boat will be about 7' wide by 16' long. It will be used on rivers and near shore in shallow waters.

I will upload several pictures, but creativity is a plus, keeping in mind all parts will be formed from flat aluminum plate from 3-4mm thick.

Have fun, this will be quick contest with not a lot of revisions required.

I'd like .pdf files of design and sketchup .skp if you can at award of prize.

  Domagoj, It does not have to be detailed set of building plans, I use SketchUp to play with various designs, but wanted to see if someone here can be inspired to give better plan. Imagine if you had flat boat, and you merely wanted to have ability to sleep or retreat from the sun you would want bed and few comforts. We need to keep usability of boat and topside while having place for couple to sleep. A simple sketchup. showing all sides is fine. I am simply no good at designing and thought I'd find help.
