Contest Brief

Lincoln County, North Carolina, is considering changing its logo. We are running a contest to consider various logo designs. We reserve the right, even if we award the contest to you, to pay the prize and not use the logo immediately.

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING :

Lincoln County is a transitioning county located in the Charlotte (NC) metropolitan area. It has traditionally been rural, and partially is so, but has now become more urbanized and used as the suburbs for commuters to Charlotte.

It was traditionally agriculture and textile based, but now has other businesses and technological industries making it a modernized county.

We would like a logo that conveyed both the County's history, and the County's forward-looking future. We don't need a motto; just a logo.
