Design a Logo for Green IT service product

Contest Brief

We require a logo for our service product ‘Greenpoint IT’ and our company name ‘Green IT Consulting’.

The logo design is a three step process with two variations. Both variations will share a unique symbol.

The first step is to create a unique symbol for the logo. For example, a 3D green planet image.

The second step is to tie the symbol with the words ‘Greenpoint IT’ our service product. This will become the first variation of the logo.

The third step is to tie the symbol with the words ‘Green IT Consulting’ our company name. This will become the second variation of the logo.

In summary we want two variation to the logo incorporating the one symbol. One variation will have the words ‘Greenpoint IT’ the second will have the words ‘Green IT Consulting’. Green IT consulting is what we do. And Greenpoint IT is a product we sell.

    i want to create a flock of butterflies of different colors using the logo as a master copy for future work. I can see that happening with #167 repeated but not sure with #166.

    A Google image search on 'butterfly artwork' will show what I'm talking about. You can give a side view or top view symbol of butterfly. I think a 3D side view could work well but not sure. I will also look to use a flock of flying butterflies for website and print material after logo is done.

      #167 symbol is ok, but a bit subtle to pick as a butterfly. If you can get more variations would be nice.

    Can people out there focus on doing a 3D flying butterfly from side view. I dont want an exact picture of butterfly. I want a symbol created from it in one or more color shade. A origami butterfly could be an idea. For example Freelancer uses an origami bird for its logo. Green IT is about bringing change or transformation in a quick time and is socially responsible/ environmentally friendly etc. So anything that can symbolize that would be great. A butterfly is a good example.

    Hello Everyone... There are lots of good artwork here .. unfortunately there isnt any that is compelling. As mentioned earlier the sphere planet and leaf is overdone. So please dont use them. Someone here has come close to what could work.
