My Own SBA Toolkit for CSEC English Examinations is a complete companion for guiding students through all the steps required to successfully prepare and submit their CSEC English School-Based Assessment. A school-based assessment is work that students between 14-17 years of age complete in order to get good scores in school. The toolkit will be a print book and a companion website and mobile app.
The image required will show a set of five people icons/stick men/avatars unpacking and interacting with tools that are in a RED very well stocked toolkit. The toolkit must have the logo branding prominently displayed on the front of the toolkit.
The winning image will be clean, well-designed and original. It will be consistent with the branding guidelines provided. The image will be used in the middle third of a 8.5" x 11" book cover and will be set against a white background.
An example of a graphic i like very much is located here >> [login to view URL]
I like this graphic because it shows active engagement with the tools in the toolkit. It shows a set of 'persons' interacting with the tools. Another SAMPLE IMAGES is in the project files.
Whilst you are expected to use some/most of the icons in the ICONS folder, you are expected to create objects as required to ensure that all the following are represented:
(1) simplified requirements from the examining body, these are called GUIDELINES,
(2) step-by-step how-to guides
(3) an example of the completed SBA project (a 12-page booklet)
(4) scoring rubrics
(6) a map that shows the 11 activities that must be completed and the sequence in which these activities must happen
(7) links to online tools
A few sample pages from the book is shown in the file 02- SAMPLE PAGES. The winning image will replace the image now shown on the front cover of the book and the creator of the image will be acknowledged on the copyright page.
