Contest Brief

I am an author and I would like help with designing the cover for my next book. I'd like a virtual design. This is my idea for the cover:

There is a teenage girl (fourteen years old), her skin is very dark brown, she has low cut curly hair (about half an inch high or less, that is just a bit of hair over a skin cut), she’s wearing a pink checkered shirt uniform and a pink skirt. The girl looks afraid. Her eyes are crimson red (fully red, not just her irises and pupils, but also her sclera). She’s either (i) holding a black rosary up with both hands and looking into the beads or (ii) wearing a black rosary on her neck and has her hands clenched with drops of blood falling from the grooves in her clenched fists (whichever is easier to realize). There’s a silver backed jackal standing to her left (with silver irises) and a golden jackal (with golden irises) to her right. The jackals should look somewhat realistic, big and scary, maybe growling (they're not pets, they can kill and they should look it). Behind them there’s an incomplete building going up in flames.

    hi again, sorry for bother you, i was finishing the sketch to then make it digital but i have a question, about the jackals, you mean to draw 2 ordinary jackals one with eyes and fur of gold and the other the same but silver, or you mean the real species that has that name, because I found out that there are animals with that name, the golden jackal from europe and the silver jackal from africa, and they look somewhat different in size and features.

    hello there, i' am interested but before give my propose i would like to know, the image of the cover has to look like a photo or can be and illustration, and if its just the cover or the winner is going to do more designs of the girl in the future and also i want to know the dimensions of the image we have to send. thanks.

      No, it doesn't have to look like a photo at all, I'd actually prefer an illustration. It's just the cover, but if I like the design we can work together some more in the future. The file dimensions should be between 2560 x 1600 pixels and 10,000 x 10,000 pixels
