Contest Brief

Need a logo for Applied Hope Foundation, a 501c3 whose purpose is "providing relief to people and communities in distress through the design, manufacturing, and delivery of physical, social, and environmental support". I've attached a copy of one I thought was going to work, but our company is using it for another humanitarian project. Want something that echoes the optimism behind the term Applied Hope. For example, we are currently serving as a passthrough for a rebuilding housing effort in Ukraine and a Sustainability Laboratory for the Marshall Islands as they deal with the effects of climate control. But I don't want the logo to be specific to any of our current projects. We need it to fit future projects also.

The term Applied Hope is defined as "the practical and grounded conviction that starting with hope and acting out of hope can cultivate a different kind of world worth being hopeful about, reinforcing itself in a virtuous spiral."

I like the use of blue and greens, blue representing water, green growth, but would like a splash of something contrasting, like maybe red. Also, I would be interested in a logo that were constructed of our initials either AH or AHF. Thanks!
