Contest Brief

This content is for a logo of "Ekipa Media". We are a media company, currently focusing on music and video production.
We are looking for a symbol and logo that will be our brand sign.
We would like to have 2 versions, a small version of a brand sign as a square, that doesn't have to include any writing (for facebook/youtube logo) and a big version as a rectangle(for webpage/cover photos and others), including the full text Ekipa Media or the logo + Ekipa Media.

The logo may be a combination/modification of letters E, E and M or E Media (you may use vinyls, cameras or any music/video equipment related), although any other interesting ideas are welcome.
AND
for the large logo the 'Ekipa' is the crucial bit - 'Media' is meant to be much smaller, as it is much less important.

The logos may be written in capital letters, we like simplicity and clarity(we are not big fans of bold fonts and complex logos that you wouldn't be able to write on a piece of paper, if you've seen it only once in your life) and we are looking for a brand sign that will be easy to remember and unique.

All the “media” elements outlined before can also be added, however, microphones, vinyls, play / stop / pause signs are too much of a cliché and we would like to avoid them.
Note that Ekipa means Entourage/Crew and the fist can be looked at as a symbol for brotherhood and power.
Another idea - you can also make it look like the fist is holding onto something, but we don’t want to look like we are advertising anything inside the fist. http://goo.gl/9thmVj

Hey, We are still looking for new ideas. Another idea is to make an “E” out of a fist facing either forward or sideways. Use the one below as an example. Other letters should ideally match the fist “letter” in typography saying Ekipa. The word “Media” is an addition which doesn’t need to be added if it doesn’t fit the design – it won’t be an integral part of the logo, it will only be used to distinguish between different services we provide (as in video, music, books, events, etc). Also, the fist will be used as a logotype on it’s own, without the rest of the writing, so 2 things are important – that it’s clearly a fist, and that it clearly shows a letter “E”.
Image below is just an example – ideally the logo will not be as “curved” – letters in this style would look too “graffiti-ish” and we don’t want that.
We are looking for a vector image, with or without a colour scheme.

I extended the content for another 3 days, we are very confused between 3 of potential winners. We also all agreed that it would be interesting to see logos that are more 'dirty' and less office focused- better describing the arts industry. We still want simplicity, although some elements of musical pop-culture may be added - we all thought of a cracked bottle of whiskey or wine (as describe in previous post), which has a double meaning in polish (it's called a tulip, it's a home made weapon, very popular in 90s). It is meant to be an icon, so simple drawing or contours are welcome (maybe even connect a bottle and few tulips? ). If you can think of something interesting - more art based, less theory based we would be glad to see it! We already rejected some very good logos as they were too official and too focused on the 'business' side, without anything extraordinary.

We though of something that may make it easier for you guys to come up with an unique and more ordinary design. Do you think you are able to include a cracked bottle in a logo?
