Contest Brief

I have drafted up a sketch of a logo which I will be using for web and business cards. I want you to make the following changes, as well as get it ready for high res printing and/or improve it where you think necessary.

Changes:

1. The 'runway' style needs to be better drawn such that it tapers gradually toward the aircraft (i.e. much wider at the end) and perhaps faded colours toward the end too.
2. The colours are about right: maroon/grey with lettering matching as per example.
3.. The font sizes about right, but I am open to changes/re-formatting.
