Contest Brief

Our company is looking for a logo. We are a technical company who are specialized in digitalizing forms; we also handle complex form routing for certain institutions. We digitalize all kinds of paper stuff. Even though we are specialized in forms, we always use birds in our visual presentations. One bird especially; the secretary bird. It would be awesome to see this bird being represented on our logo. Also, we're young and a bit crazy, so we do encourage a little craziness on the logo as well.

Our application is designed in the colors blue, white and we also (sometimes) use the colors orange and green. The color blue which we use is #007acc. But you can use any color you like, as long as blue is the base color.

Our company name is 'Dimaros', which can be extended to 'Dimaros Forms'. It would be great to have two variants of the logo; one which is white on blue and one which is blue on white. It's a business logo; we like metro/flat styling, we're not really into 3d stuff. Just keep it simple and awesome, and I'm sure it will be great.

It's probably better not to do a very detailed secretary bird, but a cool silhouette-like concept. Also, you might want to throw in some forms or papers with it. As long as it's not over-the-top crowded in there, I'm sure it will be awesome!

The bird photo's which are attached to this contest should not be in the logo; it's just to show what a secretary bird is, for the people who didn't know yet!

  We actually awarded three logo's, but we only could pick one winner for the contest. Thanks for your entries, though! It was very hard to pick a winner out of 400 entries, there were a lot of logo's which we really liked (including two of yours), but this was eventually the one who made it.

Thanks all for the entries! Please be aware of the following (some people didn't read the whole description, I believe :-));

- I asked for a bird (or especially a secretary bird) to be in the logo. I get a lot of entries with only the letters; 'Dimaros Forms'. That's a little too minimal, so I reject those submits.
- Please try to use metro styled fonts, as the logo will be incorporated in a metro styled application.
- Please use the color blue (#007acc) as a base color
