Contest Brief

Hi everyone.
I need a logo created for a clothing brand company that deals in streetwear clothes.The company is called "16-strikes" and will release only 16 clothes per year hence the name.
The logo needs to be simple and crisp so that it can be distributed on print, digital media but mainly T-shirts,hoodies and any clothes etc. and it must retain the quality of the graphic in all these situations. (Logo cannot lose detail when it is scanned,printed black and white or printed on clothes)

The Logo should not look too corporate as its a clothing brand for ages 16-24.

I had always imagined the logo incorporating an "16 lines behind the number 16" relating to the "vision" component of the business name. But to be honest, I'm open to your ideas and as long as it follows the above guidelines then that's fine.
I do also insist that the logo not be too complex so that reproduction of the logo on media doesn't look clumsy.

Finally I have added pictures to show our competition. This is a fashion brand but so far all I have had are tech-like logos. Please do well to ask any further questions.
