We are re-engineering the Arabic teaching methods to make different Arabic dialects closer than ever and to enable foreign students to speak & communicate in Arabic with different Arab nationalities in the fastest way possible.
* Job Summary:
We are looking for a Software Developer Freelancer who will help us with the integration of Stripe within our systems. We already configured Stripe and are currently using it for our subscriptions but manually updating the payments in our education management software where we manage students, tutors, schedules, and billing).
The software developer will mainly need to focus on automating this existing process to reduce the total time we spend and complexity.
* Responsibilities ??♀️
1. Refinement and Planning
Refining the integration scope based on the existing setup and automation requirements.
2. Developing the Integration
Using Stripe’s API and our Education management system API to integrate the payments and automate the transfer of payment information from Stripe & bookings/Transactions from our Education Management System to eventually present live information of the correct balance for the students and tutors. And to check if we can create a login page to access students’ payments, invoicing, and balances.
3. Testing and Troubleshooting
Thorough testing to ensure that the integration and all data is working well with 100% accuracy. This includes handling different types of payment statuses and ensuring data accuracy.
4. Deployment and Go-Live
Deploying integration in the live environment and monitoring the initial transactions to ensure stability and correct data handling.
5. Documentation and Training
Documenting the new processes and training relevant team members on how to monitor the system and manage any issues.
The Stripe Integration Specialist is expected to cooperate with the team and all stakeholders involved in the project to make the best result possible.
* Required Skills ???
- At least 5+ years of experience, with a strong technical generalist and coding background.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential.
-A great verbal and written communicator, with strong presentation skills, comfortable explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Previous experience with programming, Stripe integrations with other apps, & working with APIs in different applications.
-Knowledge of building automations for a subscription business model
-Knowledge of specific integrations for Education industry is a plus but not required.
-Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
-Highly Independent, used to handling projects by him/herself.
-Can read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages, and especially knowledge on .net
