I know a little bit of Classic ASP but am having problems with date formatting and Access Database.
I am looking for some code that I can add into existing web pages to do the following.
User clicks on an icon to record a contact with a customer
This posts current date, current time, customer name into a MS Access database.
The user can also post a planned future customer contact using a date picker that posts future date and customer name to a MS Access database
The user can then run a series of queries of how many times they contacted particular customers, who they havent contacted, how many days ago since last contact with a customer etc.
My problem is I tried to develop this but the system records a mix of American (mm/dd/yyyy) and European (dd/mm/yyyy) date formats in Access so running a query of comparing dates is impossible.
When posting todays date [ date() ] it appears in Access database in American format
When posting future date from date picker it appears in Access database in European format
I want to be able to count the days between today and a date posted in the database but cannot do that if its in American format.
I want everything to be in European date format.
I have tried [login to view URL] but it didn't seems to work
I want something that is pretty simple. This is not a commercial website, it is for an internal intranet for the sales staff in our office so it doesn't need to be very complex.
