I need a assistance as I migrate my SQL 2000 tables to SQL 2005 database.

I have an IIS server and i use asp for my applications.

You will not do any coding. your role will guide me in the migration as far as the differences in SQL 2000 and SQL 2005.

I have a pretty good experience in SQL 2000. I just need help navigating in the 2005 environment and apply what i know in 2000 and tell me what functionalties are no longer available.

I need for you to write me a short tutorial with screen shots that would:

1) move simple tables tables from 2000 to 20005

2) any configurations I need to do in 2005. i just need to mirror the configuration i have in 2000

3) what functions are not available in 2005

4) what useful/practical functions i can use in 2005

5) set permission in 2005

6) simple backup procedures

7) use this same connection string

strConnString = "Driver={SQL Server};" & _

"Server=localhost;" & _

"Database=tracker2;" & _

"Uid=uname;" & _

"Pwd=password"

Set objConn = [url removed, login to view]("[url removed, login to view]")

[url removed, login to view] = 15

[url removed, login to view] = 10

We can communicate in yahoo messenger or msn if i have questions. I just need to migrate 2 tables from 2000 to 2005,

and have it run in ASP using the connection string above with the appropriate permissions.
